Verdo's Pellets and Grain Ltd
Verdo's Pellets and Grains Ltd is a new business starting up in Canvastown - Marlborough looking to offer the top of the South Island and further abroad the ultimate feed and service.
PROJECT REQUIREMENT
Verdo's required 4x storage silos to hold 4 different products around the 20T capacity (Wheat, Barley, Corn and Peas) and portable hoppers for each product. The silo frame work had to have the ability to fit the hoppers underneath for dispensing into and then transferring to mixer and bagger etc. Also another requirement was to have the silos in an customized colour to match in with existing background so it wasn't an eyesore to the public.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Advantage Plastics designed the prefect solution with 4x SS30 Smart Silos (23T Wheat capacity) manufactured in the Karaka colour to meet their colour requirements, the framing was manufactured with an 1600mm clearance (ground to outlet) to fit our 1200L side discharge hoppers in underneath making it easy to handle the product and dispense into the machinery.
